ASTON VILLA VILLA & PROUD

Villa & Proud is Aston Villa’s official LGBTQ+ supporters’ network. Founded to ensure LGBTQ+ fans and allies have a visible, welcoming space within the Villa family, they now have more than 600 members based in Birmingham, across the UK and around the world, including members in countries where being LGBTQ+ is still criminalised. 

They bring supporters together through matchday meet-ups, social events and community activity, as well as working closely with Aston Villa on matchday activations, Pride-themed fixtures, Premier League campaigns and wider inclusion initiatives, ensuring LGBTQ+ voices are visible and heard within the club. 

Villa & Proud have built a strong presence at Birmingham Pride, consistently representing Aston Villa in the city and helping new fans feel connected, even if they cannot attend Villa Park regularly.
